Ronin Mountain starts in the awareness that man-made objects are always the carrier of a culture, a psyche, an idea, a repetition of old patterns or the search for new. In the everyday struggle to pay rents and buy food there is little time to learn the stories we walk by. The names of villages, a street map, architecture, they all speak about who we are and where we come from. Layer upon layer of cultural sediment create us as effectively as our material wealth. Not even the free will of the mind can alter our way of being, just our way of choosing.
